Series: What is the gospel?
Week 1 - September 25, 2005
The Gospel
The richness of the gospel. Some churches stress truth, others experience, others justice and service. But gospel ministry entails all three. A gospel-centered church is not, strictly speaking, a classic fundamentalist, charismatic, or mainline church. God is a God of holiness, grace, and justice.

Please read this Vision paper as a follow-up to each week's group discussion, not as preparation for it. We hope these papers, written by Tim Keller, will help people understand more details about how each particular aspect of the vision works itself out in the life of the church. Each paper gives answers to the kinds of more practical questions that are likely to come up from the group's discussion of the sermon.
